Regular Share Account

All members are required to maintain a regular share account as a condition of Credit Union membership. With this type of account, dividends are paid quarterly (on the first day of January, April, July, and October) and are computed on fully paid $5.00 shares. To receive dividends, your funds must remain on deposit until the close of business on the last day of the quarter. Deposits made by the 10th of the month earn dividends from the first. There's no penalty for withdrawal except the loss of dividends for that period.

Special Share Account

The minimum balance required is $25. Dividends are earned from the day of deposit to the day of withdrawal and are compounded daily. Dividends are calculated by the daily balance method which applies a daily periodic rate to the balance in the account each day. Dividends are available on the first day of the following month.

Money Market Account

This account pays a market rate with limited transactions per month. The dividend rate for this account fluctuates according to market conditions. If your balance falls below $2,500 at any time during the month, the account may earn a lower rate. Dividends are calculated on the daily ending balance and will be paid and posted on the first day of the following month. Minimum withdrawal is $250. The number of withdrawals is limited to three checks and three transfers per month.
