Southwest Online allows you to manage your finances electronically through a secured link. Contact our Member Services Department at 877-297-5657 or 210-684-1054 during normal business hours to enroll.

Southwest Online offers many exciting and convenient features, including:

Credit Sense 

At SwRCFCU, we recognize that our members are increasingly expecting free and easy access to their credit score. With Credit Sense, powered by Savvy Money, you can conveniently access and monitor your credit score plus, receive tips to improve it, and ultimately save money--all through the security and safety of SwOnline, your online banking center.

With Credit Sense, you can monitor your Trans Union credit score.  Scores are updated automatically each month, but you can also instantly update your score on a daily basis, if desired.  Additionally, you can gain control of your financial situation through:

--Explanations of the factors that most impact and can improve your credit score,

--the ability to calculate savings from consolidating, refinancing, or assuming new debt,

--email notifcations and alerts of key changes to your credit report or suspicious activity to help prevent identity fraud.

Credit Sense also provides access to financial literacy tools that help you better understand your financial situation and how to improve your financial management skills.  You'll appreciate the availability of education resources such as:

--Explanations of the factors that affect credit score calculations,

--answers to frequently asked questions on credit scores,

--hundreds of articles on credit, debit, spending, savings and relationships.

Bill Pay – This secure, free service allows you to make one-time and recurring payments from your designated checking account to companies or individuals with just a few clicks. All you need is a computer with internet service, enroll into Bill Pay through Southwest Online and you can make payments to anyone, anytime. Plus, you can select, schedule and track your payments 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

Once you have enrolled or logged into Southwest Online Banking, click on the Bill Pay tab. Here is how Bill Pay works:

  1. Set up your billers. In the Payment Center you will start by setting up your billers, the names of companies or people you want to have in your payment list. You can pay anyone in the United States that you would normally pay by check or automatic debit.
  2. Enter and schedule your payment. Tell us the amount you want to pay and when you want to pay it. The money will be taken out of your designated account. If you choose, you can set up automatic payments.
  3. Your payment is sent. We deduct the money from your account and send it to the biller or payee. An email confirmation can be sent to you, if you choose.

Bill Pay requires a valid e-mail account and a SwRCFCU checking account. You must be a resident of the US or one of its possessions and you will be asked to review and agree to the Terms and Conditions of the Bill Pay Service.

E-Notifications – As a free part of Southwest Online Banking, you can receive important notifications by e-mail, such as NSF/ODP Fee Notice, Late Payment, or Share/IRA Maturity Notice.

E-Alerts – This notification tool emails you when an activity occurs according to the parameters you set on your account. Activities may include high- and/or low balances, when a check has cleared, when a payment is due or when a deposit is posted. Please note that this service gives you a timely notification but does not operate in an online, real-time mode.

Popmoney – As part of Bill Pay, this personal payment system allows you to send money to family, friends or anyone you know as early as one business day. All you need is the recipient’s name and email address or mobile phone number. Money is transferred from your account to the recipient’s account. You can add a message or turn a message into an e-greeting card.

Our simple steps to setting up your Popmoney account include:

  1. Go to Bill Pay and select “Pay People.” Click on the “Send Money” tab.
  2. Select an account you want the payment taken from.
  3. Select the name of the person you are sending money to. If it’s for a new recipient, you can add them to your contact list.
  4. Enter the amount your want to send and the date you want to send it.
  5. Select how you would like to send the money. You can select the recipient’s e-mail address, mobile phone number or their banking account number. You’ll be able to add a message or compose a personal greeting.
  6. Verify and send the payment. You’ll be able to review a confirmation screen.

Popmoney will send a message to your recipient and let them know how to retrieve the money. You can also request and/or receive money from others and track transaction activities.

Auto Transfer – Using this service, you can set transfers that will process on the date(s) selected. You can make loan payments, transfer money from savings to checking as a single transfer or on a reoccurring basis. Also, you can transfer funds from your account to another member’s account (member crossover agreement required).

Transfers – Allows you to transfer funds within the same member number.

Auth Holds – This free service allows you to review any holds on deposits that have been made.

Checks Cleared (Draft View) – View and print checks that have cleared your account through normal banking channels at no charge.

Credit Card – If you currently have a SwRCFCU MasterCard, you can view your credit card balance, payment history, purchase history and make payments electronically through a secured site.

E-Statements – This free service allows you to receive and view your statements online. You will be notified via email monthly when your statement is prepared.

Loan Applications – This free service allows you to submit any loan request securely online. Once your request is processed, an Account Executive will contact you.

Reorder Checks - Reorder checks in a few easy clicks.

Stop Checks
– This convenient service allows you to place a stop payment on a check(s) without visiting a SwRCFCU Branch. All requests will be honored up to 6 months and will be assessed a $20.00 fee.

Messages – You can send a secured message to our Southwest Online System Administrator or check any messages that have been sent to you by SwRCFCU.

Preferences – Change your email address, password, or assign special names to your credit union accounts. For example, if you have several loans you can label each one differently (Vacation Loan, Auto loan, etc.)

MFA Preferences – This link answers questions about Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). It also allows you to change your image, security questions and other information about MFA.
