ATM Safety Tips
  1. Observe your surroundings before conducting a transaction.
     
  2. If the ATM is obstructed from view or poorly lit, go to another ATM.
     
  3. Take a companion along when using an ATM, especially at night.
     
  4. Minimize time spent at the ATM by having your card out and ready to use.
     
  5. Stand between the ATM and any one waiting to use the terminal so that others cannot see your code or transaction amount.
     
  6. If you see anything suspicious while conducting a transaction, cancel your transaction and leave immediately.
     
  7. If anyone follows you after making an ATM transaction, go to a crowded, well-lighted area and call the police.
